About the founder
Didarul Islam Sifat is a software engineer and cybersecurity practitioner based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He founded SecByte in January 2026 with a single objective: build a credible, independently accredited certification body for cybersecurity professionals in emerging markets who are priced out of legacy vendor certifications.
He leads SecByte's academic standards, exam integrity model, and accreditation programme — work that has secured full EDU accreditation, IACUS academy accreditation, ISO 21001:2025 certification, Erasmus+ organisation registration, Global School Alliance membership, and UK CPD provider approval.
Alongside SecByte, he serves as Chief Technology Officer at Chorcha, and holds the EC-Council Certified Incident Handler (ECIH) and PT1 penetration testing credentials.
